The Training coordinator /Executive at the Oman Institute for Training Services in the university is expected to perform training relevant administrative tasks to support the training department in planning, coordination, and implementation of activities. The position requires collaboration with staff and the industry and responding to work requests from departments in a timely and accurate manner.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute training programs for public, private, and government institutions.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their training needs and customize programs accordingly.
- Develop and update training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Schedule and organize training sessions, considering participants’ availability and logistical requirements.
- Monitor training outcomes and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and adjust training programs to align with best practices.
- Liaise with trainers, instructors, and external experts to ensure high-quality training delivery.
- Manage relationships with clients, addressing inquiries, and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Keep accurate records of training activities, attendance, and evaluations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and support
Qualification and Skills requirements:
- Omani National
- Engineering degree or related field
- Minimum a year of experience in the training field
- Works independently and with minimum supervision
- Trustworthy and can handle confidential documents.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Technical writing skills
- understand technical and industrial terms.
- Ability to evaluate technical needs of the industry.
- Ability to discuss and negotiate technical parts.
