Duties and responsibilities:

 

Learning and Teaching:

  1. High levels of student achievement and satisfaction in courses taught by the lecturer;
  2. Well-delivered lectures, tutorials, laboratories and/or other forms of interactions with students, which demonstrate cultural awareness and corresponding pedagogy;
  3. Evidence of implementing student-centered approaches to learning;
  4. Evidence of implementing reflective practices in own teaching;

Leadership, community services and administration

  1. Contributions towards the achievement of strategic goals of the University, with a focus on excellence in Learning & Teaching and interaction with stakeholders;
  2. Evidence of promoting the values of the University, especially multicultural awareness and ethical practices;
  3. Contributions to knowledge transfer with the wider community;
  4. Contributions to the promotion of a culture of excellence by implementing quality assurance processes;
  5. Course coordination.
  1. Other tasks, as might be assigned from time to time by the University and as required to meet the requirements of the post.

Coalifications & Skills:

  1. Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in languages or Education, or equivalent
  2. Years of experience: minimum 2 years
  3. Other relevant skills: teaching the German language to non-native speakers
