| Job Purpose | |
| The Technician supports the technical activities of the Building Technology and Standardisation Center, including testing, calibration, and implementation of building systems and standards. This role involves hands-on work with equipment, assisting in research projects, and ensuring compliance with building performance and standardisation requirements. | |
| Key Tasks and Responsibilities | |
| 1. Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of laboratory and field-testing equipment.
2. Conduct technical testing related to building materials, energy systems, and performance standards. 3. Support research and development projects within the Center. 4. Collect, analyze, and document technical data and test results. 5. Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of tools and instruments. 6. Assist in implementing building standards and quality assurance procedures. 7. Support training sessions and demonstrations for students and professionals. 8. Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. 9. Other duties assigned by the line manager. |

| Education/ Professional Qualification | · Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Applied Sciences) or any related field |
