Job Description

A student Affairs Assistant Executive at GUtech is expected to be able to achieve the following outcomes:

  • Planning and running of an induction week for new students.
  • Assisting in planning and executing of events & activities.
  • Correspondence processing including email contacts from social media/ networks.
  • Simple translation of documents from Arabic to English and English to Arabic.
  • Data compilation, effectively organizing and maintain files.
  • Assist in the preparation of brochures, handbooks, publications, reports, catalogues, and other written materials.
  • Coordinate appropriate outreach and marketing activities as assigned.
  • Coordinate and assist in student Visa Applications.
  • Attending meetings for the purpose of note taking or understanding related duties.
  • Providing Best Customer service to all stakeholders and general student welfare.
  • Posting and uploading department updates on the GUtech Forum and Social Media Accounts.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of student involvement activities and events.
  • Supervision of Student Clubs & creating feedback surveys.
  • Leading extra-curricular activities, field trips.
  • Developing network with the community.
  • Dealing with student & other stakeholder queries and emails.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HOD.

 

Qualification:

Bachelor in Admin, Public Relation or any related subject.

 

Required Skills

1- Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills in both languages (Arabic & English).

2- Knowledge of using database software and Microsoft office Suits specially, Excel, Microsoft and PowerPoint.

3- Team Player with demonstrated customer services skills.

4- Ability to exercise good decision-making skills.

5- Knowledge of using online websites: google- forms, google sheets and online invitations.
